Shells, woven straw bags and flip flops are just the few things many of us look for during the summer. I know you all might hate me for actually posting this clutch but I actually like it and especially in the summer season I love to mix these types of clutches with my outfits. What grabbed my attention about this Bamboo Shell Clutch are the shells and pearls combined to give a classy look. But, what we have to look at when buying a large price bag are the little things that will drive us crazy when looking at a bag. One of the negative aspects is that it’s in a hard-box which is not something I would want when I was reading the description. Also, another problem about this cute accessory is that the price is out if this world for such a small piece, estimating at $850.00 plus tax. Changing the clutches exterior to leather instead of that hard boxy style and dropping the price to maybe $475.00 would probably convince me to purchase it but because it’s in a hard shell and the price is ughh… I’m going to skip and find another Island looking clutch. It’s all about bright colors this Spring and Summer. Valentino came out with a cute Colorful Patchwork Croc Bag. The bag is made out of Caiman Fuscus Crocodile with gold tone trim and gold tone hardware. The only bad part about this bag is if your not willing to make a huge investment to buy the bag it’s just not for you then. I myself would love to own a bag like this but with the price being sooo steep at $18,900.00 it would be best just see it at the store without purchasing it. I’ve seen lots and lots of bags over the past 14 years of my life but I’m just not sure about this one. It’s the Juicy Couture Leather Lock Gossip Hobo. The bag has large metal tipped ribbed ridged straps that pass through the oversized ring attachments which is probably what made me wonder about the bag. I’m sure we all like to wear a nice attractive handbag but I don’t think I would wear it and I don’t recommend it.

I’m the type of person that if I pay at least over $900 for a bag I want it to at least be leather but I’m not so sure about buying a canvas tote for over $900. Here you see Rachel Bilson wearing the latest Lanvin Papillote Shopper. It seems as if every designer is rolling out with these cartoon drawings on their stylish bags. The only part that is in leather, are the handles and the trim. The bag is also unlined but has an interior side zipper pocket and large open pocket. I’m sure you all agree with me that this bag is a bit steep in price retailing at $925.00 for just a grocery tote.

I just wanted to make an update to Lauren Conrad’s Bag from one of my earlier posts. It’s the CC Skye Lucy Bag. I have to say this bag sort of reminds me of the Gucci Indie because of the metal plates on the sides. One thing LC does best is wear the cutest handbags. The best feature on this bag is the braided shoulder straps with the gold hardware connecting to the bag. I just hope the leather feels as good as it looks. Large Clutches are going to be a big hit this upcoming Fall and Marc Jacobs is the first to show that they are, with his new collection of clutches. This Oversized Clutch is just one of the many of his modern styles. The Marc Jacobs oversized clutch is in nylon fabric with a cute tiny silvertone frog on the leather tag. You can also remove the shoulder strap to be able to wear it in the evenings. I think all clutches should be convertible like this one or atleast most of them. The catch to this is the bag is in limited quantities and is only fall bag so by the time it’s fall and you want to order the bag it might just be too late. So I guess that means to have an “it” bag you would have to order them a season ahead. Who would of ever guessed us fashionista’s would love bags so much.
